| Steven Wynter has been announced at captain for the HRL academy for this season. The announcement was made at the team Christmas luncheon on December 17, 2011. Wynter a second year HRL academy player has accredited his rapid improvement and increased love for the game to the HRL Academy. He will be assisted by Owen Evans, also a second year player, who was named as vice captain.
